Petite Time: Strawberry Magic

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my fashion blog!

I am Kaitlyn, a 21 year old girl, I’m addicted to fashion, and in the last few years, I’ve been living and studying in Singapore.

It was in Singapore where I actually started developing my own style ^_^

When I was little I liked dressing up my barbie dolls in a variety of clothing, it brought me much happiness and joy.

The result was that I ended up with MOUNTAINS of barbie dolls around my house, you couldn’t go one meter without tripping over some bizarrely dressed doll.

As I played with my dolls, I had a dream……that dream was to become a fashion designer!

I dreamt about this ever since I was a kid, while other children dreamt of becoming scientists or doctors or the president of some country…..I wanted to be a fashion designer.

If you’ll indulge me a little more…..I was very lucky compared to a lot of other children as my parents sent me to Singapore to escape the massive pressure of the ‘Chinese Education System’ (read: hours and hours of studying rubbish and trying to memorize pointless information to pass pointless tests), this gave me the chance to study and do things that I really loved.

It makes me smile to think back to my first day in Singapore as I had no idea how my life would change now that I had escaped the jaws of the CES…..I spent my time traveling, reading about fashion design, listening to music, blogging about my life and lastly calligraphy!

I am really good at calligraphy!

Anyway, today I’m here to talk about my blog, the blogs name is ‘This Is Niu Niu’ and I will be sharing the following with all my lovely readers:

The First Look:

The first look I’ll be showing on my awesome blog is what I called ‘Strawberry Magic’, I wore it at the Strawberry music festival…..

It was a little strange that summer came so late this year (in Shanghai, where I am now :< I miss Singapore) and it’s made me impatient to start wearing my summer outfits!

Denim shorts are definitely my number 1 choice!

I matched the Denim Shorts with a flounced Crop Top (Zara) and my favorite pair of Minnetonka boots.

Lastly my accessory:

A hand made Guitar Bag all the way from Memphis American (thank you boyfriend) which really rounded off the whole look, I was quite surprised how much junk I was able to stuff into the cute guitar bag.
